About the Project
Location: Adelaide Street, Brisbane CBD QLD
Mercatus Deli is a European-style providore selling everything from artisanal pantry items to freshly made sandwiches and coffee. At Mercatus’ heart sits the lengthy deli counter, which houses everything from tubs of olives and slabs of cured meat to cylinders of imported cheese. One cabinet over sits an assortment of baked sweets, freshly made brekkie burgers, pork cotto baguettes, caprese-filled croissants, veggie bagels and spicy prawn salad bowls, everything you might want to munch on your lunch break. While you might not be able to do all of your grocery shopping here, Mercatus stocks just about all of the ingredients you would need to make a great meal, think gourmet pastas, sauces, vinegars and oils, seasonings and other speciality items.

Hospitality Superstore became involved at the initial stages of Mercatis Deli’s design and fit-out project, offering support by supplying commercial equipment, benchtop appliances, display cabinets, refrigeration solutions, as well as providing guidance on layout. Additionally, we provided all kitchen smallwares, including utensils, disposables, cookware, and various other essentials.
