We’ve successfully transitioned the entire production of our standard cup range to feature Aqueous lining instead of PLA. These cups are now officially certified as home compostable according to Australian AS5810 standards. As we phase out our existing inventory, it’s possible that you might still receive cups in a PLA bioplastic-lined carton. Rest assured, both the carton and the cups inside are clearly labeled with home compost certifications, allowing you to easily identify the stock you’ve received.

BioCup Art Series are certified home compostable (AS5810) and industrially compostable (AS4736). BioCup double wall takeaway coffee cups are designed with an extra layer of paperboard and a textured pattern for additional insulation to protect consumers. Double wall paper cups are a more economical and eco-friendly solution than double-cupping extra-hot drinks like teas and long blacks.

Our disposable coffee cups are printed with non-toxic, environmentally-friendly water or soy-based inks. We have a universal lid solution in our Art Series range – our large-sized lids fit all our 8, 12 & 16 90mm diameter BioCups. Our disposable coffee cups with lids have a 12-month shelf life.
