We are excited to announce that our standard cup range now features an Aqueous lining instead of PLA. These cups are officially certified as home compostable under Australian AS5810 standards. During the transition, you might still receive cups with a PLA bioplastic lining, but rest assured, both the carton and the cups are clearly labeled with home compost certifications for easy identification.

Aqueous cups represent the future! Certified to the AS5810 standard, these cups, paired with our sugarcane lids, offer a fully home compostable solution. Our aqueous cups are crafted with a unique waterproof barrier coating, reducing material usage while maintaining the same leak and grease-proof benefits as other coatings.

Currently, no cups in Australia are accepted in the paper recycling stream. Recyclability claims in Australia and New Zealand can be verified using the PREP tool. Learn more here.

These cups are also certified industrially compostable to European Standards (EN13432) and Australian Standards (AS4736).
