LUA Hibachi — Live Demo with Chef Jamie Pearce

LUA means “flame” in Vietnamese, and that’s the whole idea. Built by B+S Commercial Kitchens with chef Luke Nguyen, LUA brings proper charcoal hibachi grilling into a commercial kitchen.
Chef Jamie Pearce is firing one up in our showroom and cooking across it for two hours. Come watch it work, taste what comes off it, and ask the questions a spec sheet can’t answer.
On the day, Jamie runs through:
- Charcoal cooking and heat control on a hibachi — the part most people get wrong
- What to cook on it, from Japanese-style grilling to fusion, and why a venue would put one on the menu
- Getting started: the charcoal we stock, which fuel to use, how to light it and bring it up to heat
- The NEW fish and meat press — what it does and how it sharpens the result
- Building real smoky flavour without the guesswork
We’ll also cover the LUA range itself — the sizes you can buy from us, how they’re made, the warranty, and why Luke Nguyen put his name to them.
