Join Hospitality Superstore for an immersive, hands-on training event designed specifically for hospitality students, apprentices, schools, TAFEs, RTOs and education providers wanting real exposure to modern commercial kitchen and beverage equipment.
This one-day event combines live demonstrations, operational education and practical hospitality discussions inside our fully equipped commercial showroom in Hamilton, Brisbane.
Students and teachers will experience the latest commercial kitchen technology in action, while gaining valuable insight into the workflows, equipment and processes used every day in professional hospitality venues.
From combi ovens and filtration fryers through to blast chilling, speed ovens and coffee equipment, this event has been designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world hospitality operations.

Session Schedule
Session 1 — Hands-On Hospitality Equipment & Training
10:00am – 12:00pm – BOOKED OUT
A practical hands-on training session focused on modern commercial kitchen equipment, foodservice workflow and operational education.
This session includes:
- Welcome and guided showroom tour
- Convotherm Combi Oven Demonstration & Q&A (Moffat)
- Filtration Fryer Demonstration (B&S)
- MerryChef Speed Oven Demonstration (Moffat)
- Friginox Blast Chiller Presentation (Moffat)
- Commercial workflow and operational discussions
- Food waste reduction and efficiency strategies
- Live cooking demonstrations and equipment education
Participants will gain practical exposure to commercial equipment commonly used in professional kitchens, restaurants, cafés, hotels and institutional foodservice operations.
Session 2 — Coffee & Bar Equipment Education
12:00pm – 1:00pm
A practical hospitality beverage session focused on modern café workflow, coffee preparation and bar operations.
Students and teachers will experience live demonstrations using the Rancilio RS1 commercial espresso machine while learning the fundamentals of espresso extraction, grinder setup, dose consistency and milk texturing techniques.
The session will also explore:
- Latte art basics
- Cold foam beverage trends
- Café workflow and speed of service
- Bar setup and operations
- Beverage preparation systems
- Current café drink trends using DaVinci Gourmet syrups and smoothie bases
This interactive session includes live demonstrations, operational discussions and a Q&A covering real-world café and beverage environments.
Session 3 — Hands-On Hospitality Equipment & Training
2:00pm – 3:00pm
A practical hands-on training session focused on modern commercial kitchen equipment, foodservice workflow and operational education.
This session includes:
